Dream Babies

Thoughts. Poems. Art. Discussion.

I am red

I have blood in my laundry pile regularly

I am a woman

I was supposed to make a life

I am a woman

I don’t know if I want all this equality

It’s a burden,

but  I do

I am a woman

My mother is strong

I am a woman

It is in embrace that I feel most adored

I am a woman

It is alone that I am strength

I am a woman

We take you into us

I am a woman

There is not enough space for us

I am a woman

I’m aging and it is not pretty

I am a woman

My spirit, though, is ageless

I am a woman

We rule the world!

I am a woman

We are so cold from this place

I am a woman

Entrancing and entranced

I am a woman

The moon guides my ways

I am a woman

It doesn’t feel like it used to

I am a womn

I say grace for us

I am a woman

I’ll be the beating heart for us

I am a woman

I’ll make sure there is a life for us

I am a woman

My bosom comforts

I am a woman

My place is in front of us

I am a woman

I am ageless in grace

I am a woman

I am a woman

and I am red.
